Brittany & Andrew ~ Engagement Pictures
they are happy in love and a true joy to photograph. I can’t wait for their wedding it’s going to be awesome!!!
Here is a little story about how they fell in love from Brittany it is one of the best stories i have ever heard!
We met at the little white church (Unionville Baptist). The moment I saw him I had butterflies in my stomach. He did not act to much interested! I don’t think he had even noticed me! I was a young 15 year old. A few weeks after we went on a mission trip with the youth to West Virginia. Someone told me I needed to go get some cleaning supplies out of the mop closet, and standing inside was him! He then and there asked me to be his girlfriend. He had noticed me:) We have been head over heels in love with each other ever since. We celebrated our one year there in WV on a 2nd mission trip where he went across the street to the gas station and bought me a rose and gave it to me in the same closet
After dating 4 1/2 years he asked me to be his wife, and on our five year anniversary. of dating we will celebrate our wedding at the same little white church where I fell for him the moment I saw him
How awesome is that story they met at church and then officially got together on a mission trip while serving the Lord, I think that is awesome
I love that she brought so many props like the bike that she had Andrew buy on the way there and that awesome little love sign! I was seriously squealing

Sabrina
Sabrina wanted me to take some pictures of her for her boyfriend for Valentine’s day!! I wanted to wait until the sun was just perfect to take them because i was dreaming of yummy light in a field, but for some reason their neighbor cut his field and Sabrina had plans for later so we just went with it 2:30 is not the ideal time for photos but I love the way they turned out. I’m not sure when Sabrina went from looking 14 to 24 but it happened…
See she is a happy 14 year old!
Then boom she is 24, it’s the strangest thing…
This is Whit’s couch that I’m so envious of….
We had great fun tromping through the yard and i got to use my camera bag!!!
Thanks for stopping by
DIY Camera Bag
So the other day Whit emailed me this (because she knew i wanted one of these )and i was so excited i exclaimed “I’m making one this weekend umm maybe mom will help me!!” so i went and got all the stuff and went over to mom’s seeing how she has the sewing machine and there was no way i was going to stitch it by hand… I guess it’s safe to say i watched my mom do all the work and and i would do whatever she needed me to… I did take pictures along the way so you could get and idea for how it all came together.
Items you need
- Purse
- 1” Thick foam
- Fabric
- Velcro Strips
- Quilt Batting
- Someone that knows what they are doing haha
I actually had bought another purse that i decided i didn’t like so much and i remembered that Marshall’s had this one so i went back and got it. I liked the fact that it had pockets on the front also more storage!!!
You will need to pull the lining out of the purse and measure the width and height, we found that we needed to have cut the fabric a little bit smaller when we were putting the padded lining into the purse.
Cut a piece of foam that is the length of the bottom of your purse and place it in the purse.
Then take your fabric that you measured and cut and the quilt batting you are going to want to cut another piece of fabric (we used scrap fabric for this )the same size and put the quilt batting between the 2 pieces of fabric. Mom took seams down the length of the fabric so it wouldn’t be so puffy.
Meanwhile i was ironing some pockets we made to stitch into the purse.
then i didn’t take any pictures of the next step whoops! But what we Mom was doing was sewing the 2 pieces together. I really am not sure how she did this she had cut it to short so she had to make a piece to go into the bottom, then we took the Velcro and ironed it onto the fabric, we also realized we should have done this before we stitched the batting to the fabric because we ended up melting the batting…. so we had to stitch another piece to the outside. but once that was complete we put it into the purse.
These are the foam dividers, we measured the width of my camera and cut them that size (6”), then we ironed velcro strips to these.
Then mom whipped stitched the padded lining to the lining that was already in the purse. I really didn’t do very much besides cutting items she told me to and ironing oh and melting the before mentioned batting…
This is the inside with the dividers Velcroed in, we choose to use Velcro because you can move the dividers around if you need more space. you could always sew them into place if you would like.
The finished product, it took around 2 hours I’m guessing… It would have taken me days to figure out how to cut it out and sew it together if I would have attempted this by myself… I’m just being honest!
I can’t wait to take it on photo shoots it is the softest leather and quite light and easy to carry all in all I’m quite happy with the outcome.
